We provide the spark, the plan and the project management for organizational change. We improve the culture in organizations through performance management, leadership development, executive coaching and projects focused on company culture.
Christa Panopoulos Bird
Spetha means "spitfire" or "spark" in Greek. Christa Panopoulos Bird certainly fits this profile.
Recognized for quickly establishing connections with people and having an innate ability to identify organizational dynamics, Christa has been helping businesses drive improvements in their employee performance and leadership capabilities for nearly two decades.
Christa began her career in Human Resources at Tribune Company (Chicago Tribune) where she worked in Training, Recruiting and Employee Relations. Following her role at Tribune, she was recruited to Yum! Brands (Pizza Hut) where she ran the Human Resources for 100 restaurants in Utah and Colorado. While at YUM! Brands, a key accomplishment was coaching the business leaders of the region to achieve the #1 balanced scorecard in the country.
A native of West Michigan, Christa returned to Grand Rapids in 2004 to be closer to her family and establish her consulting practice. Though she has experience in most human resource functions, her passion is assisting organizations with executive coaching, performance management, and culture change initiatives. She prides herself in being able to help clients build a human capital plan that makes sense for the business. She then provides the support to make that plan successful.
Christa completed her undergraduate work at DePaul University in Business and Industrial/Organizational Psychology and also holds an MBA from The Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. She and her husband live in Grand Rapids, Michigan where they have three young, great kids. When not spending time with her family, Christa's other interests include dedicating time to the Greek Orthodox church, traveling, and gathering with friends.
